New Nokia e72 Looks The Business |
||||||||||||||
The new Nokia e72 looks to improve upon the excellent e71 which we've been using for a few months now. We saw the Nokia e71 roughly a year ago and we were impressed with it then but at the time we were using a Dopod ( now HTC ) with Windows 5 and a slide out keyboard and there was no reason to change even though we were drooling at the sexy curves of the Nokia. One year later, we have the Nokia e71 and are more than impressed by the features as it lets us do pretty much everything we need on the move including: emails, Twitter, Facebook, GPRS global positioning, Camera / video, calendar, MP3 music, radio etc, etc, etc. There are plenty of downloadable apps to improve upon the already fantastic specs making it even more attractive as a mobile device. There are a few changes, but most revolve around the camera which jumps from 3.2 MPs to 5 MPs and the screen going to QVGA. The battery life has been improved with 2 more hours added for talk time and a massive 84 hours for standby. Internal memory has gone up from 110 to 250 Mb SD card memory expansion capabilities has doubled from 8Gb to 16Gb but with this much space you'll need to be sure to backup everything. if you lost a full 16Gb you're bound to have lost something important. There are a number of other tweaks which brings the phone into line with various formats for music files, video formats and operating frequencies.
