What Is Remote Management?

Remote Management is the ability to save on IT costs by allowing us to maintain servers remotely. This means we can remain in our offices and perform remote server management without having to come to your offices. This form of outsourced IT services is possible through various remote access tools that keep access to your servers secure.

How Does This Work?

Full-time IT staff can be expensive and so we provide remote IT support whereby we can perform most daily tasks remotely and for a fraction of the cost of employing a full-time IT staff member. You get the same service but with one less member of staff.
Remote access allows us to perform the following:

• Create new user accounts
• Create new email accounts
• Perform backup tasks
• Remote access to any client machine on the network ( permission needed )
• Manage printers
• Recover data from backups
• Manage firewalls
• All administration tasks

Remote access is the same as being there, standing in front of the server, but it's cheaper.

What Can We Access Remotely?

We can access any server or computer on the network as long as we have been given permissions to do so. For instance, if a user has a computer problem, doesn't know how to do something, or just needs a printer setting up, we can be sent a request and we can then, in real-time, remotely log into that user's computer and manage that computer as if we were sitting there.
